Weekly Highlight: Frank Amuso Recognized as Crusader of the Week 3/14
=============================================================================
In the quaint town of Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, Frank Amuso, a Classics and Music major at Holy Cross, is making a name for himself on campus. With a love for the arts and a zest for life, Frank is a vibrant presence in the Holy Cross community.
Frank's favourite colour is blue, and he has a soft spot for the off-campus restaurants Miss Worcester's Diner and The Flying Rhino. When it comes to food, he can't resist the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn combo or the cookie bars at Kimball.
Music plays a significant role in Frank's life. His favourite song is a unique blend of Broadway and contemporary tunes - "That Frank" from Merrily We Roll Along and Labi Siffre's "God Bless the Telephone." In the world of theatre, Frank is an active member of the College Choir, Chamber Singers, Chapel Choir, and Alternate College Theatre. He also works in the PAC as the Scene Shop & Front of House Assistant and gives tours for Admissions.
When it comes to books, Frank's favourite is Heretics of Dune. As for television, he enjoys both the recent hit series Severance and the classic sitcom Charles in Charge. His favourite movie is the hilarious sequel, Zoolander 2.
Frank's favourite memory at Holy Cross is his freshman year choir week and the friends he made during that time. He looks forward to staying in the greater Boston area after graduation.
In his free time, Frank can be found doom scrolling YouTube shorts before bed and starting his day by turning off his alarm multiple times and apologizing to his roommate, Tim St. John. Small things that make his day better include the small cups used for Cool Beans espresso and his girlfriend Becca.
Frank's love for the arts extends to his classes as well. He particularly enjoyed "Singing for the Broadway Stage" with Meaghan Deiter and "Theology of Making" with Peter Joseph Fritz.
Despite extensive searches, there is little to no publicly available information about Frank's favourite sports team or his travels outside of Holy Cross. However, we do know that his favourite place he has traveled to is Bologna, Italy.
As a member of the Relationship Peer Educators, Frank is dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive community at Holy Cross. He is also involved in various productions put on by the Theatre Department.
