CaSE has warned that removing indefinite leave to remain for settled individuals could damage research and development.
The U.K. government has been urged to remove barriers in its visa process for researchers. Alicia Greated, executive director of CaSE, has called on the government to take action to improve the visa system for skilled workers and employers. Changes to visa fees and policies could significantly impact the U.K.'s ability to attract and retain global talent.
