In an extraordinary turn of events, hiker Hadi Nazari was triumphantly discovered alive following a grueling 13-day ordeal within Kosciuszko National Park.

Title: Alive and Found: Hiker Rescued After 13-Day Adventure in Australian Wilderness

Hadi Nazari went missing on December 26, last seen by friends in Kosciuszko National Park. His absence prompted an extensive search involving 300 personnel from various rescue agencies. After days of searching, Nazari wasn't found by the team but by a group of hikers around 10 kilometers from the search command post.

Supertintendent Andrew Spliet confirmed the incident, saying Nazari approached the hikers, introduced himself, and shared his predicament of being lost in the bush. Video footage released by the NSW Rural Fire Service showed Nazari with the hikers, awaiting rescue.

Upon rescue, Nazari appeared in excellent health, having found two granola bars at an abandoned hut during his ordeal. Despite these meager resources, Spliet noted that Nazari had mostly gone without food for two weeks. His family expressed their joy and relief, with his family member telling CNN affiliate 9 News, "We talked to him... He is ok... He is fine."

Signs of Nazari, such as garbage and hiking poles, were discovered during the initial search, and a campfire, lighter, and a suspected camera hinted at his possible presence nearby. The Kosciuszko National Park, covering an area of 2.3 square miles in New South Wales, is popular among hikers for its scenic trails and challenging terrains.

The hot summer temperatures had created difficult conditions, but the presence of water in the area where Nazari disappeared provided some reassurance to the search parties. Riverina Police District Inspector Josh Broadfoot acknowledged the collective efforts of the emergency services, volunteers, and the public in finding Nazari.

Despite the lack of information regarding how long Nazari spent lost before being found, his remarkable encounter with the hikers and his resourcefulness under pressing circumstances emerged as a "miracle" in the search and rescue operation.

After sharing his harrowing experience of being lost with the hikers, Nazari expressed his interest in the latest news, seeking updates on his disappearance. After being rescued, Nazari expressed his desire to travel to new places, citing his resilience in the wild as a testament to his adventurous spirit.

In an informal yet diligent manner, a team of 300 rescuers and volunteers scoured the national park, meticulously seeking any traces of the missing hiker.
