Thriving at Bremen Messetrio: Multitude of Interested Visitors at Fisch & Fine, ReiseLust, and caravan bremen Exhibitions
The 2022 Bremen Fair Trio, a trio of events comprising Fisch&Feines, ReiseLust, and caravan bremen, captivated visitors with a celebration of regional specialties, travel inspiration, and recreational vehicles. The three-day event, held from November 8 to 12, showcased a variety of trends and highlights that reflected growing consumer interest in sustainability across food, travel, and recreational vehicle sectors.
At Fisch&Feines, the focus was on culinary delights, particularly regional seafood and fine foods. Visitors were treated to a wide array of fresh fish and gourmet products, reflecting the local cuisine and gastronomic traditions of Bremen and its surrounding coastal regions. Highlights included the Craft Beer Event, tastings, and a fish auction, all of which were well-received and are expected to return next year.
ReiseLust, the travel exhibition, spotlighted a wide range of travel destinations, with a particular emphasis on sustainable and experiential tourism. The trend towards eco-friendly travel options and personalized travel experiences was evident, catering to diverse interests from adventure to cultural discovery. Visitors had the opportunity to engage in personal conversations with travel professionals and some even booked their next trip or vacation on the spot.
caravan bremen, the caravan and motorhome fair, emphasised trends in mobile living and outdoor recreation. Innovations in camper vans, caravans, and related accessories were showcased, promoting a lifestyle that combines travel freedom with comfort and sustainability. The caravan bremen team offered advice on van life and accessories, and over 80 exhibitors presented their vehicles and roof tents.
The lively atmosphere at the fair trio, despite slightly lower visitor numbers, was evident. Unique new products such as celery root smoked fish, espresso martini in a can, and a drink made from coffee cherry fruit flesh were on offer, giving visitors a taste of the latest trends in food and drink.
A total of 36,087 people attended these fairs, with over 450 exhibitors participating in total. Claudia Nötzelmann, responsible for the gourmet fair at Messe Bremen, reported receiving positive feedback, especially for the start-up area of Food Land Bremen. Kerstin Renken, head of public fairs at Messe Bremen, reported that it was often difficult to move around, but was overall satisfied with the event, although the numbers were slightly lower than last year. The caravan bremen team reported a high level of interest from fair visitors.
Looking ahead, the next fair trio is scheduled to take place from Friday to Sunday, November 7 to 9, 2025. The event is expected to continue its focus on sustainability, regional culture, and high-quality experiences, providing visitors with a unique and memorable experience.
