Summer Fun Aplenty in Munich's Olympiapark
This summer, Munich's Olympiapark is brimming with a diverse array of events and activities for all ages. From fireworks displays and open-air concerts to immersive exhibitions and sports activities, there's something for everyone.
Sommernachtstraum Fireworks Festival
One of the park's highlight events is the Sommernachtstraum Fireworks Festival. This spectacle lights up the sky above Olympiapark with a dazzling display of fireworks, accompanied by music and outdoor festivities. The event is particularly popular during summer nights around July and August.

Summer Festival Programming
The park's summer festival extends from early August through the month, offering a diverse program for families and visitors. Highlights include classic games and activities such as jump ropes, Connect Four, and mini-trampolines, available for free at the Gasteig HP8 playground from August 11 to August 24.
New Additions
This year, the festival includes a new Treasure Hunt on August 16, an influencer flea market at the East entrance of the Olympiahalle. Munich's queer community will also celebrate the 39th birthday of the Sub with a festival in the front part of Hans-Sachs-Straße.
Exhibitions
The "Körperwelten" exhibition, running in the Kleine Olympiahalle under the title "Am Puls der Zeit", showcases anatomy, the human body, and its vulnerability and potential in the 21st century. Visitors can also experience the immersive AR experience, "The Legend of the Titanic", which allows them to explore the history of the Titanic and its most iconic rooms.

The Echo association is also offering free vacation fun for children aged 6 and above at the Riem trade fair city from August 11th to 14th. Lastly, the "fesch" beer garden in Nußbaumpark at Sendlinger Tor is open until September 14, offering beer, food, and free concerts every Thursday at 7 pm.
