Steam Train Adventure: Hanau to Amorbach on Nov 30
Hanau Museum Railway e. V. and Hanau Senior Office invite you to a unique journey on Sunday, 30 November. The special train to Amorbach, organized by Museumseisenbahn Hanau e. V., offers an experience with the hissing of the steam locomotive and the rhythmic clattering of the carriages. Registration is open via Hanau City's Senior Office by phone or email, with early registration recommended by 29 October 2025 due to limited spots.
The journey begins at 11 am in the entrance hall of Hanau Central Station. Passengers can enjoy a selection of drinks during the trip. The return journey to Hanau is planned for around 7 pm, after a three-and-a-half-hour stay in Amorbach. Here, visitors can explore the local Christmas market and visit the Railway Museum.
The participation fee is 53 euros per person, with children (4-14 years) traveling for 35 euros. This includes the train ride by steam locomotive from Hanau to Amorbach and the activities upon arrival.
