Design students from an unspecified institution have presented six captivating interdisciplinary theatrical plays at the culmination of a 2-week brief. The performances were a testament to the students' hard work, creativity, and collaboration with faculty.

One of the highlights of the showcase was the mentorship of Dr. Christin Lübke, a renowned theater artist. She guided the students in developing their understanding of the essence of each play, character development, and performance. Her methods, which included conveying, observing, reflecting, experimenting, playing, and acting, facilitated a comprehensive approach to theatrical understanding and presentation.

Among the plays performed was 'The Golden Years' by Renaissance of Rasas, a short comedy script revolving around daily life at an old age center. Another was 'Mediocrity' by Apollo 18, a comical representation of a girl on the verge of discovering her true self.

'A Case of Absurdity' by The Arson Crew was another play presented, but details about its content were not provided. It is an adaptation of Jack Masterson and The Case of Absurdity by Michael Maxwell, where a private eye investigates the mystery of a missing priceless family heirloom.

'A Snitch in Time' by Seedhe Maut is a play about time traveling, blended with satire, that raises questions on the consequences of playing with destiny and altering fate. 'The Mayhem Motel' by Akashvani presents a recipe for mayhem and disaster at a quiet country motel.

'Puss in Boots' by Sutradhara was a unique pantomime set in the American Wild West, where a dancer and his cat help the people of Dodgy City save their town from a notorious outlaw.

The students had the opportunity to rehearse with two renowned Theatre Artists and Directors, Maya Krishna Rao and Dr. Christin Lübke, enhancing their performance skills. They extensively practiced and prepared for their performances, collaborating closely with faculty and incorporating their feedback.

The performances by the Design Students featured splendid sets, lighting, sound effects, dialogues, and carefully detailed costumes that captured the essence of each play and its characters. The showcase was a resounding success, showcasing the students' talent, dedication, and creativity.
