Russian Railways Launches 'To the South' Tourist Train to Sochi
Russian Railways (RZD) has launched a new tourist train, 'To the South', departing from Moscow to Sochi. The train offers a circular route with stops in Taganrog, allowing passengers to explore the shores of the Azov and Black Seas, as well as cultural and historical sites along the way. Prices start at 49,950 rubles for a four-person compartment.
The train, named 'Ski Pfeil', features sleeper cars and SVDs equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, showers, and outlets. A dining car is also available for passengers' convenience.
The tour includes travel in the chosen category, entrance tickets to tourist attractions, food, and transportation and excursion services. Three different excursion programs have been developed for the tour, offering a variety of experiences for passengers.
The cruise costs 63,900 rubles and 77,900 rubles respectively for a four-person and two-person compartment. The program costs 67,900 rubles and 82,400 rubles respectively for a four-person and two-person compartment. The train will depart on November 1, providing travelers with the opportunity to visit Chekhov's places in Taganrog, Macestin tea plantations, the Olympic Park, and the 'Dendrarium' in Sochi.
RZD's 'To the South' tourist train offers an exciting and affordable way to explore the southern coast of Russia.
