Reading Festival 2025: A Music Extravaganza Awaits

Prepare for an unforgettable musical journey as the iconic Reading Festival returns for another year, promising a diverse lineup and an electric atmosphere. This year's event, taking place on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the August bank holiday weekend, will once again grace the grounds of Little John's Farm on Richfield Avenue in Reading.

The festival's line-up is HUGE and varied, featuring artists from genres such as rock, punk, alternative, indie, dance, and electro. Headliners for 2025 include Travis Scott, Hozier, Chappell Roan, Bring Me The Horizon, Limp Bizkit, and D-Block Europe.

Getting to the festival is made easy with several travel options available. Shuttle buses will be running frequently between Reading train station and the festival site, making it a convenient choice for those arriving by train. The Reading train station is just a 15-20-minute walk from the festival site. Trains from throughout the country, including from London Paddington, go to the Reading train station.

For those travelling by car, follow the AA signage and directions on your car pass and not your Sat Nav. There are two festival car parks, the green car park and the white car park, located on grass fields. Boat transportation to the festival is free and only runs from Green Gate to Green Car Park and from Green Car Park to Green Gate.

For those opting for a more organized travel experience, Big Green Coach is the Official Travel Partner to Reading 2025, offering weekend and day return services from more than 40 pick-up locations. You can find out about the timetable or book your Big Green Coach on their official website.

To make the most of your day, if you have a day ticket to the festival, you may have to leave early to catch the last train as they do not run late on Friday and Saturday night. A cost for a day ticket to and from the festival site on the shuttle bus is £1, and a weekend ticket is £5.

Reading Festival is not just about the music. It's also about sustainability. The festival encourages attendees to leave no trace, avoid single use plastics, leave the wet wipes behind, and reduce travel impact. You can find more information about the festival's sustainability tips on the official website.

Don't miss out on this year's Reading Festival. Tickets are still available on the official festival website and via Ticketmaster. Whether you're a seasoned festival-goer or a first-timer, Reading Festival offers an experience like no other, attracting fans from across the country and worldwide. See you there!
