Expanded Japan House Los Angeles (JHLA) Now Open with Gallery, Shop, and More
The Gallery and Shop at Japan House Los Angeles (JHLA) are now open to the public, adding new attractions to the Hollywood & Highland complex in Los Angeles.
The fifth-floor space within JHLA will not only house the Gallery and Shop but also a flexible salon and event venue, a relaxing library with free WiFi, an elegant fine-dining Japanese restaurant, and a stunning view of Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles. In total, JHLA will occupy approximately 14,000 sq. ft. on the fifth floor of Hollywood & Highland.
Visitors to JHLA can easily access the complex via Metro's Red Line subway, stopping at the Hollywood/Highland station, or by parking in the Hollywood & Highland garage, located under the complex and accessible via Highland Ave. Parking for JHLA visitors is available for $2 for two hours with validation from JHLA.
The inaugural exhibition in the Gallery showcases the experimental fashions and artistic collaborations of Kunihiko Morinaga. Yuko Kaifu, President of JHLA, expressed her pleasure with the opening of the Gallery and Shop, stating that it is an exciting addition to the JHLA facilities.
