Nox Set to Revolutionise European Night Train Travel by 2027
Berlin-based start-up Nox is set to revolutionise European night train travel with its entirely private-room service. By 2027, passengers can expect affordable, comfortable journeys with personal space and scenic views.
Nox's co-founders, Thibault Constant and Janek Smalla, bring expertise from the railway and travel industries to the project. They plan to connect major European cities like Amsterdam, Paris, and Vienna by 2035, with a long-term vision of reaching over 100 cities including Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Barcelona.
Passengers can choose from Single and Double Loft rooms, or Double Vista rooms with panoramic windows. Each room will feature two-metre-long beds, seating areas with tables, and ample storage for luggage. Safety is ensured with lockable rooms from both inside and outside.
To make overnight rail travel affordable, Nox offers single cabins starting from EUR 79 and doubles from EUR 149. The 'Early Bird Club' provides discounted fares and early booking access. The company has reserved train coaches and is finalising interior approvals, with financing rounds underway to bring the project to life.
Nox's private-room night train service aims to transform European travel by 2027. With affordable pricing, comfortable rooms, and scenic views, it promises an attractive alternative to traditional overnight rail journeys.
