NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, home to SpaceX's launch facilities, has been crowned America's top tourist attraction in Tripadvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards. The Florida-based center, which has launched every human space flight since 1968, including the historic Apollo missions, has received over 20,000 five-star reviews on Tripadvisor as of October 2025.
The visitor complex, located on Merritt Island adjacent to the U.S. Space Force station at Cape Canaveral, offers a unique blend of history, education, and entertainment. It features a behind-the-gates bus tour, the Space Shuttle Atlantis exhibit, and the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, which houses the legacy of astronauts like Jim Lovell, known for his public talks in the Astronaut Encounter attraction.
Kennedy Space Center, where the Bank of America has a branch, has outshone popular Florida attractions like the Magic Kingdom, ranking higher in the Travelers' Choice Awards. Many vacationers prefer it as an alternative to Disney World, with some reviewers even describing it as 'better than Disney'. Only two European landmarks, the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona and the Eiffel Tower in Paris, ranked ahead of Kennedy Space Center on the worldwide list.
