Majority of Business Voyagers Express Desire for Journey to China (64%)

In a recent survey conducted by SuperJob, it has been revealed that China is becoming an increasingly popular travel destination for Russians.

The visa-free regime for travel to China is now in effect, making it easier for Russians to visit the country. As a result, 64% of Syktyvkar residents express a desire to visit China, with Shanghai being the third most desired destination for 9% of respondents. Beijing follows closely behind as the second most desired destination for 16% of respondents.

The Forbidden City and the Great Wall of China are among the top 5 desired destinations, with 32% of respondents expressing a desire to visit the Great Wall. The hospitality of the local population is the biggest positive aspect of the trip for most respondents.

Interestingly, among respondents under 35 years old, there is a higher desire to travel to China (72%), with a travel budget of 122,000 rubles on average for a one-week trip per person. Men are willing to spend slightly more for a trip to China, at 116,000 rubles, compared to women at 113,000 rubles.

The level of interest in visiting China is almost equal among men (67%) and women (61%), with women showing a higher interest in visiting the Great Wall of China compared to men. Among those who earn more than 100,000 rubles per month, the desire to visit China increases to 75%. The travel budget also increases with income, with those earning up to 50,000 rubles per month planning to spend 108,000 rubles, and those earning over 100,000 rubles planning to spend 124,000 rubles.

It is worth noting that the survey does not provide information about the national origin of the respondents or their reasons for expressing interest in traveling to China. However, the results suggest that China is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Russians, with a high level of satisfaction among those who have already visited the country.

In addition to Shanghai, Beijing, the Forbidden City, and the Great Wall of China, Guangzhou and the Shaolin Monastery are also among the top 5 desired destinations for Russians looking to explore China.
