In the vibrant city of Sochi, tourist flow indicators continue to soar during the shoulder season, with the majority of guests hailing from the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, and the Krasnodar Krai. Over the past two weeks, approximately 180,000 people have been vacationing on the resort simultaneously, maintaining the high tourist activity seen throughout the summer.

The number of booked rooms in organized accommodations in Sochi and the mountain cluster remains consistent at 86% and 74%, respectively. This consistency is a testament to the enduring appeal of Sochi as a popular tourist destination.

Deputy Mayor Sergei Somko continues to chair the summer operational meetings in Krasnodar, ensuring the smooth running of the resort during this busy period. His leadership has been instrumental in maintaining the high standards of service and safety for tourists.

In terms of safety, the sanitary and epidemiological situation in Sochi remains stable. No new cases of hookah smoking in public catering establishments have been reported over the last two weeks, following three cases reported earlier. However, monitoring groups have identified 45 cases of hookah smoking in such establishments this year.

Authorities have taken action against violations, filing four administrative cases this month regarding the prevention of forced provision of passenger transportation, excursion, and yacht rental services.

The resort has accommodated and provided health services to approximately 6.2 million people since the beginning of the year, demonstrating its ability to cater to a large number of tourists.

Meanwhile, no new cases of alcohol seizure from illegal circulation have been reported over the same period. Over 1,940 liters of alcohol have been seized from illegal circulation, highlighting the ongoing efforts to maintain law and order in the resort.

To further enhance the tourist experience, 90 people have embarked on hikes along mountain-forest trails on the resort as part of 13 registered tourist groups. These activities not only provide a unique and memorable experience for tourists but also promote the preservation of Sochi's natural beauty.

As Sochi transitions from summer to winter, it remains a beacon of tourism, offering a wide range of activities and services to its visitors. The consistent high tourist flow and the ongoing efforts to maintain safety and order bode well for the future of Sochi as a premier tourist destination.
