Alright, buckle up! Here's the scoop on the soaring air travel scene in Kazakhstan.
Beginning June 28, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) is gunning for the skies between Baku and Shymkent three days a week! That's right, flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays from Baku, and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from Shymkent. Expect this to pump up both business and tourism exchanges between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
But that ain't all! Southern Sky's 48-seater An-24 aircraft is taking off on the Semei-Astana-Semei route as of April 27, commencing with three weekly flights, scaling up to five by mid-May. And the fun doesn't stop there, as new flights to Almaty, Semei, and Astana pop up in May, plus a brand-new FlyArystan Shymkent-Semei-Shymkent service starting June 1.
In another feather in Kazakhstan's cap, SCAT Airlines will kick off flights on the Almaty-Urdzhar-Almaty and Astana-Urdzhar-Astana routes six times a week from June 1. Whew! That's one flier-friendly future ahead!
