The '10,000 Green Roofs' program, funded by the Emschergenossenschaft/Lippeverband, aims to incentivize property owners across 48 municipalities to apply for the subsidy. The green roofs require minimal maintenance, needing only occasional watering during dry periods and eliminating the need for regular gutter cleaning.
