Edelweiss & Swiss Expand Summer 2025 Flights: New Destinations & More Frequencies

Edelweiss and Swiss are expanding their summer 2025 flight schedules, with Edelweiss introducing five new short-haul and two new long-haul destinations, all departing from Zurich. Swiss is adding four new European destinations and increasing frequencies to several existing routes.

Edelweiss' new short-haul destinations include Bristol in England, Calvi in Corsica, Tbilisi in Georgia, Terceira in the Azores, and Zadar in Croatia. Additionally, the airline will offer new summer service to Kittilä in Finland, every Saturday from June to September. Edelweiss is also introducing long-haul flights to Halifax in Nova Scotia, Canada, and Seattle in the USA.

Swiss, on the other hand, will continue serving long-haul routes to Washington, Toronto, and Seoul. For the summer, Swiss is adding four new European destinations from Zurich: Niš in Serbia (July and August, Mondays and Thursdays), Heringsdorf in Germany (same period, Saturdays), Montpellier in France (same period, Mondays and Fridays), and Dubrovnik in Croatia (from April 17, 2025). Swiss will also fly to Berlin from Geneva daily in the summer.

Edelweiss is expanding its offer with new connections to Bristol, Calvi, Terceira, Tbilisi, and Zadar. Meanwhile, Swiss will increase flight frequencies to Manchester, Krakow, Kosice, and Copenhagen. Swiss will take over the Dubrovnik connection from Edelweiss Air and operate it throughout the summer until late October, with up to five weekly flights planned.

Both Edelweiss and Swiss are enhancing their summer 2025 flight schedules, offering passengers more choices and connections. The expanded routes cater to both leisure and business travellers, providing convenient options for various destinations.
