This prestigious win was announced at the glitzy Business Traveller Middle East Awards (BTME Awards) held on April 28 at the InterContinental Dubai Festival City.
The BTME Awards, established in 2002 by Motivate Media Group and Ink, honors standout performances in 40 categories encompassing airlines, airports, and hotels. This year's event was a star-studded affair, pulling in more than 300 industry bigwigs, and it coincided with the opening day of the Arabian Travel Market.
Making their way to the stage to accept this well-deserved accolade were Ramesh Cidambi, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free, and Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President - Marketing. Cidambi shared a few words, expressing his gratitude to the voters and praising the dedication of the Dubai Duty Free team. He was joined in commending their efforts by Chairman HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
Anthony Milne, Chief Commercial Officer at Motivate Media Group, handed over the award, underscoring Dubai Duty Free's unwavering impact on regional travel retail.
