Double Trouble Brings Vintage Charm & Innovative Coffee to Lisbon

Double Trouble, a charming new coffee specialty space, has opened its doors in Campo de Ourique, Lisbon. Located at Rua Saraiva de Carvalho, 38 A, this intimate cafe is the brainchild of three Brazilian friends: Julia, Thiago, and Rico. The vintage decor, complete with a 1950s record player, creates a cozy atmosphere that can accommodate up to 16 guests.

Double Trouble offers a unique blend of common coffee drinks and innovative creations. Alongside classics like espresso, American, and macchiatos, you'll find intriguing options such as the Mont Blanc, an Australian trend combining cold coffee with custard cream for 4.20 €. Another standout is the Mont Fuji, a matcha-inspired coffee drink priced at 4.80 €.

The cafe's menu also includes delightful snacks. The Fluffy Towel, a coconut cake, is a light treat for 3.90 €. For a heartier option, try the Tamógostoso, a Portuguese twist on the Japanese tamago sando featuring chorizo, priced at 9 €. If you're craving something sweet and creamy, the Batidão, a frozen mix of milk, banana, peanut butter, and espresso, is a must-try at 5 €.

Double Trouble is open from Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, and on weekends, 9 am to 3 pm, providing ample opportunity to sample their offerings.

Double Trouble is more than just a coffee shop; it's an inviting space where friends can gather and enjoy a diverse range of coffee creations and snacks. With its vintage ambiance and innovative menu, it's a welcome addition to Lisbon's coffee scene.
