Detmold's Free Family Festival: Sunday Fun for All

Detmold residents can look forward to a free family festival this Sunday, September 7, from 1 to 6 pm at Hangar 21. Organized by the city portal, the event promises interactive activities, global cuisine, and live music. Parking is free in nearby lots.

The festival, which is free to attend, will see participation from various local institutions and exhibitors. These include the VHS & library, Grandmas against the right, and the VdK local association Detmold, among others.

To ensure easy access, Stadtverkehr Detmold GmbH (SVD) is providing a free shuttle bus service. The shuttle will run between the train station and the festival grounds, stopping at key locations such as Landesmuseum, Rosental, Hasselter Platz, Klusstraße, Boelckestraße, Moritz-Rülf-Straße, and Hangar 21.

The family festival at Hangar 21 is set to be a vibrant and inclusive event, with something for everyone. With free parking and a convenient shuttle service, it's an ideal opportunity for families to enjoy a day out together.
