CyberTech Women Entrepreneur Program: 12 Startups to Pitch for Global Expansion
The CyberTech Women Entrepreneur program, a joint initiative between Australia and India, is currently accepting applications. This unique exchange program focuses on women-led start-ups in cybersecurity and critical technologies, aiming to help them scale globally.
The program, supported by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and the Government of Telangana, India, has received an overwhelming response with over 7000 entries, potentially making it the largest startup pitch contest in the Indo-Pacific region this year. The preliminary screening process involves video micro-pitches, pitch decks, and written supporting materials.
Six women-led Indian start-ups and six Australian start-ups will be selected to participate in the program. They will receive further soft-landing support in the respective markets for three months after the program concludes. Applications close at the end of September at cybertechwe.inqinnovation.com.
The CyberTech Women Entrepreneur program is an opportunity for women entrepreneurs in cyber and critical technology fields from both countries to expand their businesses globally. Despite the managing organization not being explicitly mentioned, the program's scale and support make it a significant initiative in the Indo-Pacific region.
