Airline Company Jazeera Airways Amplifies Footprint in the Indian Commercial Aviation Sector

Flying Across Continents with Jazeera Airways

New Delhi: As international travel picks up in 2022, Jazeera Airways is ramping up its expansion plans, offering affordable flights across the Middle East, Central & South Asia, North Africa, and Europe. Already operating a fleet of Airbus A320neo and A320ceo aircraft, Jazeera Airways currently connects over 50 destinations.

Having been in the Indian market for five years, Jazeera has made its mark with a strong domestic presence in six cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Chennai. Two more routes are planned for later this year, Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore.

Jazeera Airways is not ignoring the growing travel demand in Saudi Arabia, where it operates eight routes in collaboration with the Saudi Tourism Authority.

Romana Parvi, Regional Manager - South Asia, is front and center, promoting the airline and exchanging business ideas at various travel trade shows, including TTF Ahmedabad, BLTM Delhi, and OTM Mumbai. Jazeera Airways will also appear at numerous other tradeshows across several Indian cities and the Wedding Travel Show in Dehradun.

Parvi commented on the promising response, stating, "We have a healthy load factor for forward bookings. We are actively assessing growth opportunities in the Indian market and will work to address the demands."

About Jazeera Airways

Jazeera Airways operates out of the Jazeera Terminal T5 at Kuwait International Airport, connecting popular destinations spanning the Middle East, Central & South Asia, Africa, and Europe. Destinations include Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, and Ahmedabad.

Despite recent expansion focusing on Middle Eastern connectivity, Jazeera Airways has expressed interest in exploring new markets such as Russia, Uzbekistan, Egypt, Iran, Montenegro, Serbia, Albania, and Pakistan[5]. However, as of the most recent data, there are no official announcements regarding new direct routes to other Indian cities beyond Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore. Additionally, the airline's fleet expansion to include Airbus A321 LR and XLR, terminal expansion at Kuwait International Airport, and increased capacity are connected to broader network growth rather than new Indian routes[4][5].

  • Romana Parvi, Regional Manager - South Asia, is actively promoting Jazeera Airways at various travel trade shows, aiming to attract more travelers for an enhanced lifestyle experience, as the airline plans to expand its services to Thiruvananthapuram and Bangalore.
  • With Jazeera Airways' growing interest in exploring new markets such as Pakistan and potential future expansions to include Airbus A321 LR and XLR, travelers might anticipate an exciting lifestyle opportunity to visit numerous destinations, connecting Asia, Africa, and Europe.
