"5D Truth Traveler experience launches in Pigeon Forge today, following its success at the Ark Encounter venue"

New Biblical VR Attraction Opens in Pigeon Forge and Branson

The Truth Traveler VR ride, a unique blend of faith-based storytelling and cutting-edge technology, is now open in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and Branson, Missouri. This immersive experience transports visitors through key historical Biblical events, from Creation to the Resurrection.

The Pigeon Forge location, situated at 2680 Parkway, across from The Island and a large Ferris wheel, recently celebrated its grand opening. The Branson Truth Traveler, housed in the iconic Andy Williams Moon River Theatre, is set to open in August 2025.

The Truth Traveler VR ride offers an engaging narrative accompanied by P.O.D., a "spunky, food-obsessed robot" co-pilot. The experience includes motion benches, sensory effects, and a 5D Virtual Reality environment.

Next to the VR ride is the Stargazer Planetarium, which provides a sensory exploration of the universe’s design with stunning visuals guided by Rae and P.O.D. The Stargazer Planetarium in Pigeon Forge boasts a 95-foot tilted dome and laser projection.

Answers in Genesis (AiG), the ministry behind the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum, is the driving force behind the Truth Traveler expansion. AiG is dedicated to enabling Christians to defend their faith. The Truth Traveler is part of AiG's efforts to expand its attractions to new markets.

Ken Ham, founder of AiG and its attractions, plans to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Truth Traveler in Pigeon Forge. He described the attraction as having a "Disneyesque" quality.

Tickets for Truth Traveler alone start at about $25.50, with combo tickets including Stargazer Planetarium available around $35. Both locations are active and open to the public as of 2025.
